Indian Stock Market Prediction Next Week ( 6-10 January 2025): Indian stock markets ended higher for the second consecutive week on 3rd Jan 2025. Market sentiments turned positive, based on the expectation of solid earnings from the IT companies and improved sales from the automobile sector. Q3 Earnings
The newly listed Mobikwik will announce its quarterly results on Tuesday, 7 Jan 2025, while the IT major TCS and Tata Elxsi will declare their earnings on Thursday, 9 January. The Avenue Supermarkets (DMART) will announce its Q3 earnings on Saturday, 11 January 2025. Investors having a position on the above shares need to remain extra cautious on the result announcement date.
Economic Data
According to the preliminary estimate, the HSBC India Services PMI rose to 60.8 in December 2024 from 58.4 in November, marking 41 months of continuous growth and the fastest pace since August, this was due to strong demand and a sharp rise in new orders.
The November 2024 core sector data showed improvement and indicated that the Industrial Production data which is due next week on 10th January will also improve as the Core Sector data has a 40% weightage in the Index of Industrial Production (IIP). The FIIs were the net sellers last week, they sold shares with Rs 11041.59 crore, while the DIIs were the net buyers and bought shares worth Rs 9253.7 crore.
